Shanghai Bak Choy with Garlic and Sesame Oil


Serves 2-3

5-6 stalks Shanghai bak choy (if using baby Shanghai bak choy, use12-14 stalks) 
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Wash the bak choy well, there is can be a lot of sand on the stems. Cut vertically in half.

Heat sesame oil in a fry pan over medium heat.
Add the bak choy and sprinkle the rest of the ingredients over the vegetables, mix and cook for 8 min until the vegetables are cooked but not too soft.
